Stuff that YOU should check out !
Head Heritage
21st century shaman Julian Cope's 'Head Heritage' website is a cool place to go to find out about righteous rock'n'roll past and present, as well as covering ethical issues.
Cope is the creator of many
a fine album, as well as author of 'The Modern Antiquarian', a guidebook to
the ancient sites of the British Isles, and 'Krautrocksampler', an encyclopaedia
of classic German '70's spacerock. Check it out!

Rustic Rods Aching Cellar
Rustic Rod, a veteran of the
psychedelic music scene, has an online (and mail order) music shop selling far
out music by far out musicians and is also central to the superb 'Ethereal Counterbalance',
who have quickly become a firm Razmo favourite. The Cellar features Rod's history
and musical family tree, with photos and music to download.

Acid Mothers Temple.
We at Razmo Radio Corporation
were privileged enough to personally witness Acid Mothers Temple at their Southbank
gig in 2002, as they played a live improvised soundtrack to the entire X-rated
Manga film "Legend of the Overfiend", followed by a forty minute version
of their track 'La Novia' . Mind Blowing. Go see their site. Buy their albums.

Ptolemaic Terrascope.
An Illustrated Occasional
magazine, each issue of which comes with a free CD of superb non-mainstream
music and explores the world of real music played by real musicians though their
multi-dimensional terrascope. Expertly edited by Phil McMullen from Melksham
in England (and published by Nick Saloman), the magazine is, I'm told, a favourite
of our great hero in the B.B.C., John Peel. The free CDs that accompany each
issue have featured great tracks by many great artists, and our recent favourites
have been Acid Mothers Temple And The Melting Paraiso U.F.O. , Saint Joan, Scenic,
The Bevis Frond, Vashti Bunyan, Simeon and The Alchemysts, Mary Jane and CrazyAlien!

Mummy Short Arms.
Great music, iguanas, nazi
squirrels, dancing lemons and one inch tall dragons all somehow co-exist in
the world of Mummy Short Arms. They're gigging regularly in a venue near you
(provided you live within easy reach of Scotland) and you should immediately
go visit their website and go see them live.

Number One THEREMINs.
This lot design
and build lovely theremins. We've bought about four or five of their most basic
version and they do loads of different models, some in psychedelic color schemes.
Very reasonably priced and part of a whole range of interesting and rare electronic
devices like ring modulators and things for listening to plants!

The Ex-Girls.
Three beautiful cute mad Japanese girls (Keiko, Kirilo & Fuzuki) who claim to be from the planet Kero! Kero!, make one hell of a sound and are all welcome to come and live at Crazy Alien Studios if they so wish.
When I saw them it was
the most original and fun gig I've seen in many a year. Go see them when they
next tour Europe. Buy their records.

Sound on Sound magazine

This magazine is extremely
knowledgable about designing, building and operating music studios, and is a
veritable treasure chest of information on all things audio. They've run whole
series of articles on running your own record label, how various synthesizers
work, and how to improve your results. Sound on Sound have been the main source
of reference for the Crazy Alien, and so most of the equipment in the Razmo
Radio Corporation has been chosen on the basis of their reviews.
