Studio Safety
In the studio environment, the live improvising rock band faces a number of life threatening dangers and Razmo Radio Corporation would encourage you to follow our common-sense safety guidelines.

SAFETY TIPS
DRUMMERS
Research has shown that 97% of all studio injuries and fatalities are directly
related to the drummer.
Under no account should you ever let the drummer have any access to any of the following:-
FISH
Face the facts. The studio environment is simply no place for large quantities
of fish, crustaceans or any other form of wet slimy sea life. The artistic justification
of utilising the acoustic properties of trawlers have been widely explored elsewhere,
but the Razmo Radio Corporation strongly advise against using sea going vessels
in the recording studio.
FATAL NOISE LEVELS
Listening to loud music can seriously damage your hearing and so to avoid
suffering permanent hearing damage your drummer should be located behind triple
glazed nuclear blast baffles and industrial grade sound absorbers.
STATIC ELECTRICITY

Our research shows that during the eighteenth century, the physicist Desmond
Van Der Graaf illustrated the dangers of generating static electricity by vigorously
rubbing together musicians in confined spaces.
The same principles that allowed Dr. Van Der Graaf to light his semi-detached
house can cause YOU to experience excess static interference
and ball lightening within the confines
of the recording studio.
Avoid wearing polyester or nylon garments. Wigs should be made of natural
fibres and drummers should be properly earthed at all times. Rubber-souled
shoes should be soaked in anti-static fluid before use and after an improvisation
should be stored in a well ventilated outdoor environment away from populated
areas.
And NEVER use dodgy electrical equipment.
